ACEcat is a unique, patented coating based on TiO2 photocatalyst embedded in a silica matrix used as a binder and a protective layer providing an unprecendeted coating durability. Multiporous material is obtained at low temperature and without surfactant promoting the interactions with the photocatalyst active sites.
Acecat provides a unique durability and high photocatalytic efficiency over the whole lifetime of the product without release of nanoparticles even on organic substrates.
This coating is very well suited for the photocatalytic degradation of organic compounds and for the UV protection of polymers.
